challenges
Hello everyone. I haven't posted for a while, because life has gotten in the way. It has been a rough and challenging week. I have been maintaining my weigh at 248-250, but I have not been doing the injections and I have been on a P3 type eating. It has been a busy and emotional week for me. My horse has had to have stitches twice in 4 days, my son's car has broken down and my husband is struggling with work issues and we aren't sure that he will have a job for much longer. On top of that, I broke my right hand just above my thumb (good thing that I am left handed), and I am still fighting with cravings and not doing so well at winning. On the other hand, I have been doing a bit of exercise, (walking up and down the hill to get to the horse, to take care of bandages and other things) making sure that I have the water on and get the garden watered and weeded. My oh my, I sound like I am whining......maybe I am just a little. Sorry about that. Today I have to run some errands and that is about all. It should be a calmer day. Hope everyone is doing well......Until next time, take care

ah that sucks dawna, but you know when your having bad luck this week your more prone to having good luck next week, at least thats the way i like to feel. I hope your horse is fine and keep active and eating well to get this challenge in the next gear.
How did you break your hand? that sounds awefully painful!
I was holding the horse, and something spooked her. There was a big fire in the field next to her corral that day, so she was already jumpy, and well, my hand was caught in the rope. Try not to crush bones with 1200lbs of muscle pulling on you......it is feeling better now, than it was. thanks for your encouragement. Dawna
