Weekends.....

I don't know if I like them or not. It is easier for me to stay closer to any type of schedule during the week. And at work, it is easier not to be tempted.

I found some good buys on shrimp and wild caught halibut this week, and I plan on enjoying some of that today. Lowell and Brenndan (hubby and son) went to the city this morning hauling away a truck that had been sitting under a tree in the front yard for over 30 years. We bought my Grandparents property from the family 4 years ago at a great price, now we just have to clean up the yard. A big task, because it is almost 2 acres, and I don't think that anything was ever thrown away....I mean car parts and all sorts of metal and farm equipment.......stuff like that

I am down to 251 this morning.....I started at 263.8 I am very pleased with my progress so far.
This has been a very stressful week for me. My son has been giving us some trouble, and has a new girlfriend and he wants all this freedom. The girl has a reputation for being a cheater, and is really on the sleazy side. He thinks that he is special in the fact that she wont cheat on him. Yeah right. As a parent, I am really concerned, because I can "see the writing on the wall" so to speak. We tend to become what we think and who we hang around with. He has been taught morals and principles, but.........lately he has become really rebellious about church and its teachings. Then there have been a lot of rumors going around that he has been sneaking out of the house at night to go be with her, and also that he has been sleeping with her. He is upset with the rumors because he says that they are not true..........I have to believe him don't I..... I want to anyway, but I just don't know. I have lost a lot of sleep over this, and have been constantly praying that she will just go away, but so far not that lucky. anyway, sorry to unload all this here. I just needed to get it off my chest.

Well, I'm off to go deposit a check, and get some things done. Have a great day everyone.
